Radiation Committees

The University of Minnesota's radioactive materials license, issued by the Minnesota Department of Health, requires the University to oversee compliance and to issue permits to work with radioactive materials. The University also maintains a license with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission for use of radioactive materials outside of the State's jurisdiction. The University's committee structure also supports the maintenance and retention of this license.
